Data triangulation: using comment analysis to refine web quality metrics (2005)
In this paper the quantitative data produced by WebQual is supplemented by open comments from respondents. The comments, via data triangulation, provided
much more insight into the perceptions of site quality than the statistical data alone. The results of the
comment analysis both support the instrument and point to additional factors determining the
perceptions of quality of e-government services. View or download the paper in pdf format (83k).

Evaluation of the UK Inland Revenue Web site: interactive and non-interactive users (2003)
We examine the
results of a survey of the quality of a Web site provided by the UK Government. The site is
that of the Inland Revenue. The survey was administered directly after the launch of a new
system to enable online submission of self-assessed tax returns. View or download the paper in pdf format (124k).

Longitudinal study of a knowledge sharing Web site (2003)
This
paper examines the results of a
quality survey of a Web site
provided by the OECD. The site is
examined before and after a major
redesign process. The metrics and findings
demonstrate not only the
strengths and weaknesses of the
sites, but also the different impressions of users in member
countries. View or download the paper in pdf format (448k).

An
Integrative Approach to the Assessment of E-Commerce Quality: online book stores (2002)
With the development of WebQual 4.0 we pulled together
the earlier strands and developed a generic instrument that was
tested on Internet bookshops with a sample size of 384. The paper
was published in the Journal of Electronic Commerce Research (JECR),
a leading IS journal. View or download the paper in pdf

Evaluating
WAP news sites: the WebQual/M approach (2001)
The introduction of mobile Internet services led
us to develop a WebQual instrument for assessing the quality of
WAP offerings. This paper reports on the assessment of three News
services. The paper is in the proceedings of ECIS 2001. View or

Assessing
the quality of auction web sites (2001)
WebQual 3.0 brings together the information quality
of WebQual 1.0 and the interaction quality of WebQual 2.0. Quality
is viewed in three dimensions: Information quality, Interaction
Quality, and Site Design Quality. The instrument is tested in the
domain of online auctions (Amazon, eBay, and QXL) and involved a
high degree of interaction of the subjects and the web sites evaluated.
Analysis shows that the results have high reliability. This paper
has been published in HICSS-34. View or download a pdf
